What are your candle holders made of?

Each piece is hand-cast metal (cast aluminum) with a gold or antique-brass finish; hurricanes include a removable glass sleeve. Every piece is hand-finished in our family foundry in Moradabad, India.

What size candle holder do I need for a dining table?

Taper holders in the 6–9" range keep sightlines clear across a dining table; a single hurricane makes a striking centerpiece or console accent. See our candle holder collection.

Are candles included?

Candles are not included. Taper holders fit a standard taper, hurricanes fit a standard pillar, and votives fit a votive or tealight.

Where do you ship from and how long does it take?

Orders ship from our US warehouse in North Carolina, typically in 2–3 business days, with delivery in 3–7 business days. Order by December 18 for Christmas delivery. Preorder items ship in November.

Do you accept returns?

Yes — see our return policy. Because every piece is hand-cast, small natural variations in finish and form are part of the craft.

Are the pieces handmade?

Yes. Every Raíz piece is hand-cast and hand-finished by artisans in Moradabad, India, the same craft tradition behind pieces for RH and Pottery Barn.

How do I care for my piece?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Remove the glass sleeve before cleaning hurricanes.
